Reiki Helps Hodgkin's Lymphoma
This past December, my 20-year old Niece was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She was told she would receive 8 sessions of chemotherapy every other week and she would need to look for a wig by the second treatment for she would lose her hair.

I began to send long distance Reiki to her in December. But after her first session of chemo, she needed daily injections of a drug to keep her white blood count up while the chemo wiped out her immune system. Since I am a nurse and live close to her I saw her daily for two weeks to give her injections until she was confident to do them herself. I of course offered her Reiki each visit. The first visit was between her first and second chemo session and she had just returned from shopping for wigs, none of which she bought because she did not like any. I said in passing to her while giving her the Reiki, "Wouldn’t it be nice if the divine energy saw to it you could keep your hair?" She said. "Yes of course", and we both forgot about it. As each session of chemo passed, her doctor and all of the other "bald" patients in the department where astounded she was not losing her hair. The physician said if she didn’t lose her hair by the fourth session, she would not lose it. He was totally amazed and said he never saw
anything like it!

My Niece is now getting her radiation and doing fine. She had minimal sickness after the chemo sessions, where most people suffer tremendously with nausea and vomiting. This type of Hodgkin's is a very curable cancer, so I’m not surprised my Niece is doing so well. The miracle is in having no hair loss and also minimal sickness during the hard doses of chemotherapy. Dog's Broken Back and Hip Healed
One evening while reading the paper, I suddenly heard a dog from across the street begin to yelp and howl loudly. I looked up and saw Toots, the neighbor's five-month old black Lab puppy (who was well known for having more energy than sense), lying under their car in the driveway. As I ran over to see what the trouble was, the woman shrieked she had run over the dog. As she ran in the house to get her husband, Toots was lying on the ground and was unable to move anything below her midsection. She was still howling loudly, and was clearly in a lot of pain. As I placed my hands gently on Toots' hip and abdomen, I connected with the Reiki energy and asked Archangel Raphael, the Archangel of Healing, to intervene in this accident and ensure that the angelic kingdoms provide this Reiki energy to Toots for as long as she needed it. I immediately felt a sort of twist in my solar plexus (my way of knowing that my prayer has been heard), followed by a tremendous surge of energy flowing through
my forearms and hands. Within a few seconds, Toots stopped howling and began to lick my arms. I took this to mean that she was no longer in pain. As soon as the husband came out, he and their 12-year old son gently lifted Toots onto a blanket and put her in the back of their station wagon for a quick ride to the vet. About two hours later, the boy came over to say that Toots' had been x-rayed and her hips crushed, she had many internal injuries, and she would be kept overnight for observation. She wasn't expected to live through the night.

As I went to bed, I invoked the distant Reiki symbol, created a cocoon of golden energy around Toots, and placed all eight Tera-Mai Reiki symbols in the cocoon to continue working for as long as she required them. When I awoke the next morning, I again invoked the distant Reiki symbol and sent this to her once more. That afternoon, the boy came over to tell me that Toots had somehow lived through the night, and was now able to wag her tail a bit. Toots came home three days later and was walking again, and without any cast or bandages! Sure, she had a pretty bad limp, but she was walking! Two weeks later, she was running and jumping like a normal puppy, and you couldn't tell a bit she had miraculously healed herself of a broken hip and multiple internal injuries, thanks to the help of Reiki and the intervention of the higher dimensions. Reiki for Building Construction
I am working in Tamilnadu, India. I was planning to start constructing my own house a year ago. I worked out the sketch and finished other formalities and started constructing the house around February 2002. Normally an engineer will take a period of nine to twelve months to construct a 1,000 square foot house.

I regularly gave Reiki to finish the house at the earliest and in good quality with a reasonable price. Amazingly Reiki helped me in many ways to complete the house within a short period of five months and the way I expected. Thank you Reiki and the friends helping me along the way. Saravanan C

Retinas Are Attached
I have a client who had both retina's detached and the eye specialist said he would need surgery to re-attach them. After giving four Lightarian Reiki(TM) sessions he went back for a check-up and the specialist was amazed because both retinas had re-attached. The specialist said its amazing because the eyes needed surgery. There is still nerve damage and I am continuing to do work on his eyes but it shows the power of Reiki. Dez Sellars

Taking Flight
This little story happened Thursday morning about 7:50. I got to work with two other people and found a gray dove not moving in the entranceway of our building. The two went around the bird and entered for work. I examined the bird the best I could. It had several ruffled feathers and wasn't moving much except its eyes. I looked around and decided that I had to help it.

I gave it some Reiki without touching it. After two minutes it turned its head and looked at me and flew off. I felt so good seeing it fly off. Thank you for helping gain confidence in myself and in the Reiki way. Nancy Allain

Post Surgery Healing
This is a story about two identical hernia surgeries. The recovery from the first surgery was without Reiki. The recovery from the second surgery was with Reiki. The first surgery was an outpatient procedure. You’re in surgery in the morning, then in the Recovery Room. As soon as you can urinate, they send you home. Sounds easy, right. Wrong! I’m in the recovery room by 10:00 a.m. I’m waiting for the pain medication to kick in and I’ve got my eye on the bathroom door. Lunchtime comes and goes. I watch other patients begin to make their way to the bathroom and get released. By 4:00 p.m. I was the only one remaining in the recovery room from the morning surgeries. Hadn’t been to the bathroom yet. The next shift of nurses came on duty. I thought if I just walk over to the bathroom, I’d be able to "go" and get out of here! As I made my way over to the bathroom the level of pain increased with each step. Needless to say I did not "go" and had to be helped back to my Lazy Boy. I finally left the recovery room by wheelchair at 7:30 p.m. that evening. Once home, I faced three flights of stairs which I could only negotiate one step at a time. The next three days were very painful. Two days later I was in the surgeon’s office to have my staples removed. While on the examining table I was handed a mirror so that I could view the incision. It was all red and irritated, with some infection.

Two weeks later, I participated in a Reiki retreat. I was there so that the Reiki students could experience treating someone who was post-surgery. I also helped with meal preparation. In exchange I was initiated into Level One. Months later I had the second hernia surgery. I gave myself pre-surgery Reiki. Once in the recovery room I started giving myself Reiki. I was the first one in the bathroom. I walked out of recovery under my own steam before lunch. When I got home I did not have to negotiate the three flights of stairs. I just walked up normally. I continued to self-treat myself for the next five days. Back in the surgeon’s office to have the staples removed as I gazed into the mirror a week after the surgery, the new incision was all normal skin tone. No redness. No irritation or infection. My doctor remarked about how good the incision looked. I told him about Reiki. He smiled and pulled his pants legs up to reveal what had been badly injured legs. As a child in China he faced amputation and as a last resort his family took him to a distant uncle who he said, touched his legs. Thanks, Rick Randig
