Miraculous Healing
Recently I was requested to send healing to a friend's father who was at death's door and was given his last rites. Many of us, who are friends were called on to pray and send healing. There were some of us in this group who do Reiki. We were told that he underwent surgery and is recovering quickly. My friend's father had what some people close to him say...a miraculous recovery and we agree. Those of us who sent energy were all trained by you William and I believe that links us together in a very special way. In a really powerful and completely whole way because of what you taught and the way you taught it. It was truly magical to participate in this healing for me and I felt jettisoned into an attunement at another level. I would like to talk to you about organizing a group to send out healing to whoever needs it...much like a prayer line. If people can afford a donation to the center wonderful...if not, we could still send to them and give back this gift. I would like to have a committed group of us to channel to people long distance and also maybe to organize a group who would be on call to special situations where healing was needed in person. I would personally volunteer to do this work on an on-call basis and would assist in any way I can to make this project happen. I believe there is a need out there for this. I think it made a huge difference to have all of us from your training and it would be a powerful force in the world for more healing for everyone. I look forward to hearing from you when you can. Reiki Charges Battery
I was recently in need of accessing a couple of telephone numbers from my mobile phone but unfortunately its battery was completely dead and my recharger broken. So being aware of the Reiki energy's ability to adapt itself to what is needed I set about using Reiki to recharge this battery by holding it in my hands and after just a couple of minutes I managed to channel enough energy into the battery to allow access to my address book to be gained!

Doctors Didn't Believe!
A Great Experience! Today, I have to tell one of the stronger experiences I had on my life. Last April, I went to New York to be a student of William Rand, in his Art/Master Classes. I have had studied and practiced Reiki since two years ago. My first level I studied in my country, and last year I went to New York to study with Ana and Carlos Gonzales, Level 1, 2, and ART. As a client, I knew this wonderful way of life, since 1994. One week after arrive in Brazil (I live in Belo Horizonte/Minas Gerais), in May, a client and friend of mine asked me to see a young lady (32 years old), that had suffered a surgery five days before, because she have had some stomach pains. When doctors analyzed her exams and opened her belly, they decided don’t do anything, because the cancer was in the whole stomach, beginning the metastasis in the liver, spleen, and some organs more. In that night, May/16/01, we have our first time under the Light, Wisdom and Love of The Healing Touch. I gave Reiki to her, since that time. Some doctor wouldn’t want to let her try the chemotherapy, because he didn’t believe in more than two or tree months of life. OK. We went ahead, with one or two Reiki therapies each week, and she faced tree months of treatment (chemo). Today, some minutes ago, a great call. Doctors decided to do a new evaluation and the result is: all the organs are preserved, with normal thickness and aspect. And the stomach had a reduction of the tumor. Now, she will go ahead with chemo, and asked me to go with her, and our blessed REIKI. To each one who some day to read these letter, I say: is the living presence of God. To have Reiki flowing through me is the greatest donation in my life. Everything is possible with the power of faith, and love.

Reiki Heals Wrist
My sister was "retired" from the police dept in Miami after having her nerves in her wrist severed and "permanently" damaged while on duty at the scene of a hotel fire. Many years of pain, surgery, counseling and frustration ensued. I have been a Reiki master since 1995 and about two years ago she decided to try Reiki to ease the pain and discomfort. The wrist is now healed, the use of her little and ring finger on that hand are restored, the numbness is gone, the sensitivity to cold is gone (used to be terribly painful) and she is able to do the work she loves, helping others. This occurred after being told by several medical experts" it will never get better, just get used to the pain." Thank God for Reiki. Reiki Helps Hodgkin's Lymphoma
This past December, my 20-year old Niece was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She was told she would receive 8 sessions of chemotherapy every other week and she would need to look for a wig by the second treatment for she would lose her hair.

I began to send long distance Reiki to her in December. But after her first session of chemo, she needed daily injections of a drug to keep her white blood count up while the chemo wiped out her immune system. Since I am a nurse and live close to her I saw her daily for two weeks to give her injections until she was confident to do them herself. I of course offered her Reiki each visit. The first visit was between her first and second chemo session and she had just returned from shopping for wigs, none of which she bought because she did not like any. I said in passing to her while giving her the Reiki, "Wouldn’t it be nice if the divine energy saw to it you could keep your hair?" She said. "Yes of course", and we both forgot about it. As each session of chemo passed, her doctor and all of the other "bald" patients in the department where astounded she was not losing her hair. The physician said if she didn’t lose her hair by the fourth session, she would not lose it. He was totally amazed and said he never saw
anything like it!

My Niece is now getting her radiation and doing fine. She had minimal sickness after the chemo sessions, where most people suffer tremendously with nausea and vomiting. This type of Hodgkin's is a very curable cancer, so I’m not surprised my Niece is doing so well. The miracle is in having no hair loss and also minimal sickness during the hard doses of chemotherapy. A Chance to Live
Reiki has had a profound influence not only on my own life, but also on those around me. I received a message on my answering machine at about 11:00 PM, July 4, 2002, that could I PLEASE send Reiki to my business partner's fiancé's best friend. This incident had happened late in the day on the 3rd! He was a high tower repair worker and had slipped, tangling in the ropes so that the fall of 10 feet caused him to not only land on his crown, but split it wide open, embedding pieces of bone directly into the brain. The prognosis was NOT good at all. The family was told that he would not live through the night. He and his wife were expecting their first-born child in three weeks. The family was told to gather and that life support would be pulled early the next morning. Last rites were given, and they were told to prepare the funeral arrangements. .

I had no patient name, just the hospital's name and general location, about 60 miles from my home here in West Virginia. I began long-distance Reiki at approximately 11:20 PM, the night of the 4th. In scanning, I found the head and neck were obviously traumatized, but stable, surgery to remove bone fragments was successful, no infection. The will to live was flowing so strongly that I knew this man would live despite his injuries. I also knew he would be paralyzed, but perhaps not for the rest of his life. I continued to send Reiki for close to half an hour. Unfortunately, I had to get to bed to be rested for my own clients at 8:00 AM the next morning. Before bed, I placed a description of this incident on the Reiki grid, went to bed sending prayers to all, especially this man.

At 7:00 AM, the next morning I received a call that: "It worked! It worked! The Reiki worked!" The hospital pulled all plugs and the man was for all intents and purposes, ALIVE and NOT going to die! I've never spoken with this man, don't even know him, but knew that Reiki could and would help him, which his higher self allowed. I had just attuned my business partner to Reiki Level I the week before this incident and she agreed, that yes! Reiki can work miracles. It's the best. Love to all, Lydia C.Smith, LMT;RM;D.Ay.

Severe Injuries Healed
My story is very simple, and starts about three months ago, on the island of Lanzarote when a young boy of 15 years was on a motor bike. He was hit going around a roundabout at night. His injuries were both legs and both arms broken, both lungs punctured and then one lung removed, part of his liver removed, fractured neck, and he was on a life support machine. The doctors gave him a 5% chance of living.

Three days after the accident I sent out requests for Reiki on the Internet, and I set up a Reiki circle here in Lanzarote. I went into all the bars along the front and asked that on the following Sunday at 8 o’clock if everyone could light a candle and send out some nice thoughts of help. The following week he came off the machine, two weeks later he was transferred back to Lanzarote and out of danger. A further week later he was out of the hospital all together, and three months down the line he is up and about 95% back to normal. So he went from a 5% chance to live to 95% healed in three months.
