My Dog
My 7-year old dog's favorite thing
in life is to ramble through fields and forests. Last March she was unable to
walk our usual 1/2 to 1-mile walk. Falling in the park one morning, my vet said
there was nothing we could do. Just give her aspirin. I requested x-rays that
showed no arthritis or hip dysplasia. I took her to a "complimentary vet"
who could find no reason for the lameness. He prescribed vitamins and herbs and
a diet change. Soon after I started those she injured herself stepping out of
the door. The vet felt that she tore a ligament in her right knee which would
require surgery he was not willing to do. I started using Reiki routinely twice
a day along with the herbs. Every week she has gotten better and today able to
do a 1/2 mile walk without any pain. She no longer limps. I have been so grateful
to have this knowledge as I have been able to help others but this time it has

In
May this year I took Karuna Reiki® master training with Laurelle in Sedona.
The presence of a new and powerful "Creator" connection came to me in
a March gathering of a mastery group I belong to in Oregon. It has totally changed
the way I work with clients. It increased the power of energy flow and spiritual
connection immensely. I have been an energy worker for 15 years and a Reiki master
for 6 of those years. My previous training was more clinical. I used a combination
of analysis, energy assessment, and a logical left-brained application of procedures
based on my findings. In other words, I have used a control in my work and it
has been effective but not particularly quick and certainly not miraculous. With
Reiki I became better at relying on Divine guidance and my Reiki guides and other
helpers to assist. As a result of the Karuna Reiki® initiation and training
I am surrendering more and more to being a guided tool for Divine intervention.
I have only been using Karuna Reiki® since mid-May in my practice and have
had many amazing happenings already. This is one of the best. On a Sunday
I had scheduled a client to come for the gift of a Karuna Reiki® session.
She is a close friend, a massage therapist and a "rolfer." She has studied
Reiki levels 2 and 3 with me. I work at my country home in a lovely sacred space
I have created in the bunkhouse in our barn. When I came into the house just before
her session there was a message she wouldn't make the session. She hurt her eye
seriously and was on her way to the emergency room. I began sending Reiki without
even knowing the story. A friend helping her to build a garden framework
had poked her in the eye with a steel rod. If her glasses had not deflected much
of the blow, her eye would have been completely destroyed. The doctor at
the emergency room told her it was the worst corneal scratch he had ever seen.
He cleaned the eye as much as possible but there were still a couple of tiny metal
fragments in her eye. He referred her to a specialist in a nearby city. She hates
to take medications but the doctor assured her she would be in a lot of pain when
the anesthetic drops wore off. He prescribed drops and pain medication. When
she got home she called me again and told me. I said I would go out to my treatment
room and sit in meditation and send her Karuna Reiki®. I did a suggested protocol
of Laurelle's from her book, The Book on Karuna® for first aid and physical
healing along with the distance symbol of course. Then I sent the energy and symbols
I was guided to use. The connection and energy flow was intense. The treatment
lasted about 40 minutes. On Monday evening my friend called to say she chose
not to use the medication. She did use the eye drops and "Reiki'd" her
eye. She went to bed early Sunday night, slept the night through and upon awakening
Monday morning had no pain. When she went to the eye specialist on Monday he told
her the scratch had completely healed over. He didn't even mention any metal fragments.
She has been fine ever since except slight blurring of vision from scar tissue.
That seems to be coming into balance as we use more Reiki. Foot Infection
During
a self-treatment for a foot infection with accompanying stiffness in my ankle
and shins I felt a warm pink light rush through my crown chakra and through my
hands, and enveloping my
foot. It lasted about five seconds, and then like
a miracle "flash of light" it disappeared and so did all of the stiffness!
It still took about a week for the infection to heal but I went through it with
full mobility in my ankle. Thanks to the miracles of Reiki! Adam Teece
Healed Carpal Tunnel
June of 2003, I gave a lady Reiki
for 15 minutes. She had complained of pain in her wrists due to her carpal tunnel
as she worked as a medical transcriptionist for years. After a couple of days
she got back with me and reported she realized the pain in her wrists was gone.
She was delighted about Reiki and how it healed her. Jinggy B. Cigrand

Heals Brain
After I receive an attunement for Reiki II my husband suffered
a severe heart attack. He was dead for seven minutes. While he was receiving electrical
reanimation I gave him Reiki. After this he slept for three weeks. During this
time we formed a group with some other people and gave him distant Reiki too.
The doctors (I am a pediatrician) told me that if he survived he would be severe
brain damage because of being dead for so long. Well none of those things happened.
He is great! He recovered totally and now he works with Reiki and we both are
very happy. Still many doctors do not understand what happened with him; others
instead, are learning Reiki! Love to you all, and thank you very much for this

My mother-in-law
had knee joint replacement surgery for both knees. Due to a heavy dose of drugs
as an accompaniment of this operation she was disoriented and was tortured by
hallucinations and nightmares. She asked doctors for sleep-inducing medicine but
they declined. She was supposed to keep moving her legs after regular intervals
as part of the healing procedure and even to do some leg-raising exercise with
the help of her nurse even though it was an agonizing process. So, after giving
her Reiki for half an hour with the help of my Reiki teacher and friend I applied
Reiki to her room in the hospital. She slept peacefully and the next morning she
felt she could do her exercises with less effort and quite a bit of ease. Her
recovery quickened with the application of Reiki to her room. I think Reiki not
only increased the efficacy of the medication, but it added its healing grace
to her quicker recovery. Vishvojha A Dying Lamb
In my first lambing
season I had a lamb rejected by its ewe. My assistant brought me the lamb that
overnight had become extremely cold. The lips were blue, the lungs rattling with
pneumonia and the lamb was already in a fetal position. I had just been initiated
in Reiki I and did not have the heart to tell my assistant this lamb was dying
so took it in my arms. I turned on soft music and a nearby space heater for additional
heat in the area and sat holding it for about 20 minutes while doing Reiki. I
wrapped it in a blanket and left it in front of the heater expecting it to use
the energy to pass away gently. I joined my assistant with other ewes and newborn
lambs in the barn and actually forgot about the little lamb until we returned
to the house for lunch. I opened the door and there stood the lamb bleeting for
food and wagging its tail. It was totally well again. I burst into tears of joy
then sharing with my assistant I really felt this little one was too far gone.
Never know what the plan of spirit is in any living form! It became a healthy
bottle baby. I am now a Reiki master but actually got into Reiki since I lived
alone in the country with many animals and myself subject to possible sudden injury.
