Brain Healed
Summer of '07 I visited my Sister Joan in Rochester, NY. While I spent about 3-4 days there, I discovered that my Sister had a strong interest in Usui Reiki healing. When I returned home to Syracuse, New York I went on the internet to search for local Reiki practitioners. Fortunately I found a Master teacher who lives in Syracuse and I contacted her for class-training schedules. Classes were available and I indicated that when I could put together enough money to cover the cost of training I would enroll.

It was Winter and I went to our outside mail box for the daily mail and did a 180 flip and landed on the left half of my skull. I knew I was in deep trouble. I hesitated for a moment then got up on my feet and went into the apartment. I told my wife what happened, went into my bedroom where I fell and could not move. The paramedics were called and I ended up in nearby St Joseph's hospital. In a short time I was diagnosed with massive bleeding in my brain and surgery was scheduled. The pressure somehow had to be relieved so two pie-shaped pieces were removed from my skull. As time elapsed, my family was told that I did not have much of a chance for survival, Just about this time the Master Reiki practitioner I had previously contacted found out about my distress and put in motion all her local students & practitioners on my behalf. After several weeks went by the Doctor still gave little hope for a full recovery. Then in the 3rd week I awoke and told the Nurse on duty that, "I'm hungry & thirsty" By the end of April I left the Hospital and went into a recovery hospice where I received physical therapy and daily training to learn how to walk again. By the end of June '08 I was sent home and able to walk with a cane. It is now June '09 and I am back into a full life of activity and health. Thanks once again for Usui Reiki healing and the efforts of Dr. Mary Reposo, Syracuse, NY. By the way I received my Reiki I attunement from Dr. Mary in February '09. Wm. R. (Bill) Peterson

Dog’s Hind Legs Healed
Last year November, my step daughter told me that they wanted to put their 11year old Boerbull Zola down as she was having massive back leg hip problems to the extent that she couldn't walk and was struggling to get herself to rise. I had just cleared a fever on my grandson using Reiki and I asked her if she would allow me to work on Zola. They separated Zola and her partner Bully and I started intense Reiki on her hind legs and lower back. Within the first session my step daughter and husband noticed a difference. By the third night Zola was up and using her hind legs and in fact ran to meet me at the gate very excited. We are not 7 months and going strong. Unfortunately her partner contracted a bad strain of tic bite and passed away within 24 hours. For this reason it is my believe that God requested that I be there that day to start administering Reiki to Zola so that they would have one dog left as He knew what was coming. Christel Laubscher

Blood Pressure Lowered
I received my Reiki I&II training last month and have an experience to share...and it was exciting!!! I've given my dad several Reiki treatments in the last couple weeks and he's loving them, says he feels so warm and relaxed and just can't get over the heat from my hands. Yesterday he had a pacemaker "inserted" (I guess that's how you say it?). Went to the hospital this morning with my mom to pick him up and he wasn't feeling so well. Said he felt light headed and foggy, had nausea and his blood pressure (b/p) was quite high , also pain at the incision site. So....I watched the nurses in action for a bit, trying this and that before I got bold...then I went to the nurses’ station and asked if anyone had heard of Reiki. Well, some had and some hadn't, I explained a little and his nurse said go for it...so I did. I gave him a 30 min. treatment and they watched the monitors from the nurses’ station and had me hit the B/P button as soon as I was finished so they could check the reading. His b/p had lowered significantly, 20pts pts. on the top and 10 on the bottom and within another 15 min.or so it had gone down further. When I walk out of his room they were saying "way to go" "good work in there" "did you see how much it came down". His nausea, pain and foggy feelings cleared up too. He was discharged a short time later! And...I just happen to have some of my newly printed business cards on me and I passed them out as I left. Too much fun!
