Reiki Saves a Life
In January my brother became gravely ill with Pancreatitis. He was in intensive care for 18 days and teetered on the edge. I asked him if I could do Reiki treatments and he consented. The
first couple of days I gave him two treatments per day. I always experience some kind of spirit vision when I do Reiki. But for 3 days I didn't "see" anything. Then he took a turn for the worst. His son called me and I rushed to the hospital and began a treatment. Suddenly I saw him surrounded by light beings on either side of his body and behind him was an open door with
light pouring from it. I knew he was making his choice to go or stay. Thankfully he stayed. After this he got better and they stopped most of the medications. He told me that from the first treatment I gave him, even as drugged as they had him, he could feel the energy coursing through his body. He had been skeptical before this incident, but now is a believer in the power of Reiki. He truly believes the treatments were no small contribution in saving his life. I do too! Reiki Miracle with Cancer
I was treating a client who had cancer and while I was going through some emotional challenges myself at this time, decided to surrender myself and him for healing. As soon as I had I done this, I became aware that Christ was standing at my client's head. I physically saw him with his hands placed on my client's shoulders and felt a tremendous surge of energy. I heard, "he is healed and so are you!"

After grounding my client I could still physically see Christ standing at my client's head. He took longer than normal to 'come around' after the treatment and couldn't understand how I could be standing away from his body. He still felt like he was being touched/healed around his head and shoulders. About a week later I saw him. He had been receiving treatment for cancer and was told by his consultant that his 'healing' was not due to his hospital treatment. I truly believe we both experienced a miracle simply by surrendering to it. Theresa Monson

Reiki Heals Dog
My animal friend Jackson (a 4-year old dog) was hit by a car. He was in a lot of pain and limped on his right side not able to put any weight on his back leg. We took him to the vet for x-rays. We were told his hip was dislocated and he had sustained significant muscle and, possibly permanent, ligament damage. They tried to re-set the joint a number of times, but it continued popping out. At the end of the week we were told at best he would be lame on that side.

For the first week, my partner, who is also a Reiki practitioner, and I gave Jackson 2-3 treatments on the affected joint and surrounding muscle tissue and ligaments, and we continued this routine for the next 4-6 weeks. Slowly, Jackson began to put more and more weight on his back leg, and after about 3 months had completely recovered. The vet, suffice it to say, was delighted. He also mentioned that in some rare cases with such an injury an animal can form a false joint, but he had never seen nor heard of it personally, until now! Justin Shaw

Reiki and Childbirth
I was giving Reiki to my neighbor who was at the end of her pregnancy term. It was a very relaxing Reiki session. I felt her womb empty as if the baby was already out and she had the same feeling of lightness. She did not feel the weight of the baby as it is usually feels at the end of the term. I felt an angel in the room and when I asked him whom he was he answered Gabriel. I did not know whether I should tell her or not because I was not sure. Finally I did tell her and we checked in my angel book. My intuition was right. Archangel Gabriel is the angel of children born in the first part of the month, between the 20th of February and the 20th of March. I told her the baby would be born soon because his angel was already there to greet him. He came 3 days after.

Another time I was giving Reiki to a friend of mine who was seven and half months pregnant. I could feel the baby in my womb kicking all the time. I first thought I had hiccoughs but I understood very quickly that the baby was kicking in his mum's womb. At the end of the session, she confirmed he had been kicking all the time I was giving her Reiki. Roseline Bourt

Clearing Negative Energies
My daughter and I used to work across the street from each other. Quite regularly we went to lunch. This particular day we had several errands to run which cut our lunchtime short. Our only option was to stop at a local food chain for a quick bite. As we both walked through the restaurant door my daughter and I looked at each other in shock as the negative energy from the restaurant hit us both in the face. Immediately my daughter responded with "No way am I going to eat in this place - the energy in here feels terrible." I reminded her we had used up so much of our lunchtime we had no choice. We proceeded to two seats in the restaurant, which were perfectly situated for us to see the waitresses, cooks, and cashier (coincidence?). As we glanced over the menu we both noticed the negative attitude of everyone working there. It was almost unbearable.

The waitress was yelling at the cook, the cook was yelling back, the cashier was arguing with another waitress, and so on. Every worker was in a terrible mood. My daughter turned to me and said, "Mom, why don't you use the Reiki symbols you just learned in class to clear out the negative energy in this place and maybe raise the vibration in here." I thought this was an excellent idea.

I began to imagine the protection symbol to clear the negative energy surrounding each person there and then throughout the whole place. Next, I imagined the power symbol everywhere. I could literally see a shift taking place one person at a time. By the time we were finished with our lunch everyone working there was singing and dancing, and having fun with each other. My daughter and I walked out laughing and totally amazed. Her comment to me was, "If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I never would have believed it."

What a wonderful tool to have. I never have to worry about going anywhere since Reiki came into my life. What a wonderful gift. Susan Phillips

Toddler Tantrum
My three-year-old son was having a terrible tantrum the other day. It was well past his bedtime but he was running around the house screaming and crying, not letting us touch him or come
near. I started sending him Reiki using the second symbol for peace and harmony. It was not very easy to concentrate because his screams were filling my ears. In less than one minute he stopped crying, came to me and put his head on my lap and asked to be tucked in. I am very grateful to Reiki. Elif Koksal Kendrick
