Reiki Heals Tumor
My first experience with Reiki was when I didn't know all that much about Reiki. What I did know was I always felt a strong energy around me, so when my friend told me she was diagnosed with a growing tumor in her abdomen I put my hand over the tumor area and felt heat coming out through the top of my hand. In fact, I almost could see the heat waves coming from the top of my hand. I didn't think much about it until my friend saw me again and told me what her doctor said.

When she was diagnosed with this tumor she could not be operated on because the tumor had a bubble around it and they feared it would break open and if it's cancer it would spread. The following week after giving her a Reiki treatment the doctor discovered the tumor was actually soft and could be safely removed through some type of suctioning through her belly button. The following week she had a hemorrhage and the doctor told her the tumor was gone. He could not explain it except to say the body sometimes heals itself.

I am pleased to say she is now healthy with no signs of the tumor. But what is now growing is a healthy baby girl expected in May. Kathleen Nolan

The Loving, Healing Power of Reiki
I have seen the miraculous power of Reiki - from the utter transformation of my own mind and body, to the awakening of so many precious students from the attunements, to the healing of the bodies of those I've been able to serve. One story in particular sticks out in my mind. I recently moved to San Francisco from upstate New York. I was having a hard time being there --- little money, no place to call home. I met a woman who offered her home for me to stay in. We would "trade". I would do work for her, and she would provide me a free place to live. I started to practice Reiki on her weekly.

Reiki affected her PROFOUNDLY. She began to get in touch with memories of her youth when she received communication from an angel when she found such a mystical reality in nature. I saw the light of her blooming heart in her excited eyes as she journeyed into the spiritual aspects of her life she had forgotten or left behind. Also, she began to heal physically and mentally. Whereas she had found herself needing to take Ritalin for her "A.D.D.," she says that she rarely has to take it anymore.

An ankle problem that persisted for weeks was healed completely in one session. And then, just the other day, she informed me that she was having MAJOR back pain - she had taken 6 to 8 extra-strength Ibuprofen just so she could get through her day. She had no time for an in-person treatment, so I offered to send her distant Reiki. In the process of sending Reiki I could sense her pain deeply rooted in her aura. I even felt a little discouraged but I tried to be focused and do what I felt guided to do without concern for the outcome. I called her after the treatment, and she said she felt "uplifted." We discussed other treatment options as she was considering chiropractic. I told her to follow her intuition and to allow the healing to unfold. When I spoke to her two days later she said the pain was pretty much GONE.

Over and over again I am amazed. I have attuned my new friend to level one and right away she began to offer Reiki to friends of hers. She was so ripe to receive this gift in such a space of openness and readiness to accept it. Chris Campbell

Morbus Chron
I am a Reiki healer in Denmark so therefore my English is not so good. A friend's daughter is 18 years old. She has been ill since she was 4 years old. She's suffering with Morbus Chron. It is a disease that attacks the person from the throat through the entire stomach and down to the anus. It is a very serious illness. She has been in the hospital many times for surgery for this condition.

I made a search on www.google.com to see if anybody had experience with Morbus Chron and Reiki. I only found some German web sites. But I decided to contact my friend to offer my service. I treated the girl at their house because she was a little bit anxious.

When I started the first healing and lay my hand in the first position I felt as if there was a plastic bag over my head and it was very difficult to breathe. I said a little prayer for help, and after 2-3 minutes I could breath normally again. During the treatment I saw pictures from a present life, showing me the girl had lived as a princess 250 years ago, and I felt that this was a big honor for me to heal a princess. The rest of the healing went very good. I made a new appointment seven days later.

The second healing was much harder. When I started I felt as if someone was trying to pull my arms away from the girl and I remember saying to myself, "This is too hard for me I cannot fulfill this healing." I got a little afraid about the fact that I was thinking that way. I asked for help from my Reiki guides, Usui and others to get rid of it. There came a light and the two 'spirit men' that made it hard to breathe disappeared. The rest of the healing was without any trouble.

Before the third healing I sent distant healing to 'clean' the house spiritually before I came to heal the girl and this healing was without any trouble. The girl has now had five healings and it's been many years since she's been so healthy. She sleeps eight hours when she goes to bed. She has her appetite again and she has self-confidence in a way she never felt before.

It is my opinion that these two 'spirit persons' who tried to strangle me and tried to pull me away have been tapping her life energy for many years. For such bad spirits or whatever it was, surgery or medicine wouldn't help, only Reiki healing could help her.

Now the whole family, father, mother and grandparents have asked me for healing.

I am very grateful for being a Reiki healer. Since I began on the path there are so many people who ask me for healing. I feel Reiki healing is the strongest force on earth.

Wonderful Reiki Healing!
I got my Reiki I attunement in July 1997 in India. At the time I was suffering from hypothyroidism, and had had a total hysterectomy. I was on HRT, Calcium and Eltroccin for over 5 years and used to get a check-up regularly by an endocrinologist. Soon after my Reiki attunement, on an impulse, I stopped the medication and continued with my Reiki self-treatment daily. I took my Reiki II attunement August 1997. When I went in for my check-up in September 1997, to the amazement of the Doctor and myself, my T3, T4 and TSH levels were well within the limits and I had not taken any hormones for almost 3 months. But my endocrinologist told me it could be a temporary remission and asked me to check-up after six months. Lo and behold, after 6 months, 1 year, 2 years and today almost after 6 years I am absolutely fine according to my regular medical check-ups and blood tests. Thanks to Reiki. Today I am a Reiki Master in Kolkaata, India, conducting classes with very good results. Bhanumathi Venkatraman

The Blue Jay and Reiki
In New England and a big snow storm I filled the bird feeders. While sipping tea I looked out at the winter wonderland in my backyard, the birds rustling to the feeders. Suddenly I saw a bird being attacked by two blackbirds. Without thinking I ran outside in my slippers yelling and banging a stick against the stair railing. The little birds at the feeders flitted back to the thrushes screaming in terror. The blackbirds flew off.

I hurried back inside to dress more warmly and rushed out in the above-knee snow. The bird had tucked its wings in place. I lay down next to this blue jay yelling and squawking. I thought, "What can I do? If I bring it in the house the cats will go crazy." Or, perhaps I could get it to the animal hospital. Then I thought to channel Reiki. I cupped my hands around the bird and began chanting, Reiki, Reiki, Reiki and telling the bird she was okay and safe. I continued for about fifteen minutes. She was missing many feathers from the top of her head. I could see her skin and the little bubbles of freezing blood. The black birds had not injured her eyes. She allowed me to remove a few feathers from her mouth. Gradually she allowed me to place my hands on each side of her, still chanting Reiki. I was able to lift her and carry her into the screen house. I took off my knit hat, placed it on the carpet, and put her on the hat. I raced inside to get a polar fleece blanket for her. When I returned I found her in the corner of the screen house. I spread the blanket, placed her on it, with some birdseed right under her beak and some snow in case she needed water. She was regaining some balance and began walking around.

I held her up and chanted, Reiki, Reiki, Reiki, she jumped off looking quizzically. We continued this routine for about twenty minutes. The last time I held her up she spread her beautiful wings and flew out the door to a small tree near where she had been attacked. I envisioned her wrapped in a blanket of blue healing light. I said a prayer of thanksgiving to share these moments with such an elegant creature and especially to channel the Reiki energy to her. Thank you for allowing me to share this experience.
