Reiki Restores Circulation in Diabetic
Recently a 69 year-old male with insulin-dependent diabetes was referred to me for treatment. I learned after some discussion that he had very poor circulation in his feet. In fact he had a
toe removed due to an infection that would not heal. He also had an open sore on his left heel that had refused to heal over the previous four months. I gave him a Reiki treatment and as I
finished the front of his body and went to his feet I noticed they were extremely cold.

He turned over with assistance and I completed the Reiki treatment on his back. Moving to the feet I drew the power symbol and a couple of Karuna Reiki® symbols on his feet. When I finished I noticed his feet were extremely warm. When he got off the table and his bare feet hit the carpet he exclaimed, "I haven't had any feeling in my feet for a long time, thank you!" After 3 more treatments he was excited to report the hole in his left heel had completely healed.

Reiki Heals Tumor
Last year a friend of mine was told she had a small tumor in her throat. I asked if she was game for a Reiki session and she eagerly agreed.

I sent her distance Reiki for twenty minutes while she was resting. During this time a blue light appeared before me that traveled to the right side of her neck and went inwards. After the session my friend mentioned she felt warm energy and very relaxed. She asked if I had seen anything and I told her. The site where the blue light landed was the location of the tumor. Three weeks later she discovered when visiting her doctor that the tumor was gone. At the time I had my level two Usui Reiki. Maxine Kerr

Reiki Helps Liver Transplant
I gave Reiki to a man who had a second liver transplant and it was failing. He stopped all his medications and I started to give him Reiki. He wound up in hospice. While in hospice he started to feel better. His wife asked for his blood to be checked. The blood work came back and he had a perfectly normal liver. Needless to say I thanked God for his recovery. The doctor told his wife he had no medical explanation for his recovery. Patricia

Reiki Helps Insomina
I have done Reiki Level one and two and Level three A and three B. My mother's 65 year-old friend had stones in her gall bladder. She was operated on in Bangalore, India. The gall bladder was removed because it was not possible to remove the stones. She did not try Reiki for removal of stones. After the operation she suffered with severe pain and was not able to sleep for almost 45 days. Then she happened to come to Ahmedabad where I lived.

My mother suggested she get Reiki from me. I went to see her and saw her despair and was suffering so much. My wife, Nayana (Reiki Two) and I gave her a treatment. We made four symbols and swept Reiki near the place of operation and used the power symbol for about 3-4 minutes. Then we used distant Reiki as we were seated a little further away. She started sleeping and was fully relieved of pain. She snored to everybody's surprise after so many days. The next morning she called and told me she slept and had almost no pain! She was surprised and very happy. She stayed in town for about two months and kept calling to thank us every week and to report she had no pain whatsoever. Reiki Helps Pneumonia and Acute Pancreatitis
On Easter Sunday 2003 my daughter was hospitalized at Alvarado Hospital in the surgical intensive care unit with acute pancreatitis leading to pneumonia followed by a second
pneumonia from aspiration. She was on morphine for pain, a respirator, TPN, N/G tube (to keep the stomach empty to prevent further vomiting), and much more. Her doctors had prepared us
for the worst saying her condition was serious and could be fatal. If she recovered she was expected to be in the hospital for at least another week to ten days followed by weeks of
recovery at home.

I asked Tiffany Snow to do a Reiki treatment (an alternative therapy recognized by the AMA) on my daughter but was told; by hospital staff, I needed to get a doctor's order. The doctor had heard of Reiki and graciously agreed. On the third day in ICU, Tiffany did the Reiki treatment. The nurses showed respect and worked around her schedule to avoid any interruption. Tiffany asked me to stay and pray. In the middle of the treatment that took less than an hour, my daughter felt hot and asked for a fan. The treatment was paused as my daughter ate two bowls of broth and some Jello that she was able to keep down (her first day on liquids). After another 10 minutes of treatment Tiffany said a final silent prayer, smiled and gave us both words of encouragement and said to watch for big changes to occur and left.

That evening, my daughter was tolerating liquids so well they took her N/G tube out (2 days earlier then expected). The following day she was transferred out of ICU and discharged home
on Sunday after being in the hospital only 8 days (4 days after the treatment). The doctors were astounded with her speedy recovery and attributed it to her youth. I was told that other patients with the same problem are hospitalized much longer as pancreatitis takes a long time to heal.

I felt it was a miracle my daughter, not only survived, but recovered so quickly. Three days after hospital discharge she went back to school part-time. I am extremely grateful for the powerful healing given to my daughter, the many prayers from family and friends, and the excellent care she received at the hospital. It was a perfect example of Alternative and Western medicine coming together. I have no doubt the healing that came through Tiffany (and as she says from The Big Guy, from God) was powerful and made a difference. Tiffany Snow

Reiki In The Classroom
Recently I was able to use Reiki to calm the energies of my restless students. It is the end of the school year and the students were becoming more and more anxious each day as summer vacation approached.

I envisioned the calming Reiki energy coming down from the heavens and filling me with intense, brilliant white light energy. I projected calming energy towards my students blanketing the entire classroom with serene waves of energy. I envisioned the energy wafting over their bodies in waves of refreshing crisp calming love until a peaceful serenity took over their mood and attitude. Great peace and calming energy filled my heart and the classroom. The light enveloped us all and created a peaceful calm among the students. K. Jackson

Reiki Improves Eyesight
I have been a Reiki practitioner since 2000, completing levels one and two. About 3 months after my first attunement I went to the eye doctor for my two-year check-up. Prior to my visit my
prescription for nearsightedness was -375 in my left eye and -350 in my right eye. During the 2000 visit the doctor and I were amazed my eyesight had improved to -300 in both eyes. The astigmatism I had all my life was gone. This year my prescription was further reduced to -250. I fully expect to throw away my glasses in the future. I will let you know!

Nervous Breakdown
Two years ago my husband suffered a nervous breakdown. He was misdiagnosed with Manic Depression-Bipolar and pumped full of all kinds of anti-psychotic medicines that did nothing but push him into psychosis. I lost my husband, lover, and father to my two sons for nearly two years until we found a psychotherapist that recommended he get off all medicines and start Reiki.

After the first Reiki treatment my husband came home happy and at peace. His old face returned and he stayed well for nearly eight days. He had not had one day of being his old self until that appointment.

Since then he has had three more visits for Reiki and each and every time he comes home with the most unbelievable stories of things that are so personal no one could ever know about. I am truly amazed. He is well now after just four visits. He is nearly off all medicines and looking forward to going back to work in the not too distant future. I tried Reiki myself last week and was told of a very personal event in my life that had been on my mind and it just shocked me. My husband will continue to get Reiki treatment every week until he is healed.

My boys now have their father back and my husband is slowly but surely returning to me. I thought I had lost him forever. For some reason we were lead to this Reiki master. We actually have a chance for a future filled with happiness we all thought was gone forever. It has been a very tough road. Kathi

Reiki Heals Carpal Tunnel
I've been a traditional Usui Reiki master since Fall of 2002, and since I began the path of Reiki have seen beautiful healing. I am also a psychotherapist. Recently, though, there was one such experience that took me by surprise.

A few months ago I was doing therapy with a client who was experiencing an emotional crisis. I instinctively reached out to her. Taking her hands and holding them there for the rest of our time together, she spoke and cried. The Reiki activated, and I felt it flowing through my palms into hers. A few minutes into it, she looked at me and said, "Your hands are getting so hot!" I asked if she wanted me to stop and she said, "NO, please don't stop." She went on talking about some very difficult emotional issues (it was a breakthrough for her to do so) and continued to cry off and on.

At another point she said to me, "I can feel the strangest tingling going up my wrists and lower arms." Again I asked her if she wanted me to stop and she said no. This woman was aware I am a Reiki practitioner though I had never introduced it into any of our sessions. We finished the session as we normally would.

A month later she said to me, "I don't know why but my carpal tunnel syndrome is completely gone." She had suffered from it for years and had considered surgery due to the pain she had. At our last contact, she continues to be symptom-free and has full use of hands and wrists.

I am thankful for the gift of Reiki and the spontaneity with which Spirit leads me to help bring this Light of Unconditional Love to others. It is a Blessing to be a part of this miraculous work -- day to day, heart to heart. Marcia McCollum-Ware

Rattle Snake Bite
One late Saturday afternoon at about 5:30 p.m. I received a telephone call. The line was full of interference, therefore, I could not hear well what the young lady on the other end was trying to tell me, but I perceived that someone was in danger and needed my help. This young lady is the girlfriend of my Reiki level two student.

I told her not to cry and I will send Reiki healing energies to him. She hung up and I sat down immediately to meditate to find out what is the matter but could not see the images well but knew he was in danger. I sent distance Reiki. Another telephone call came and it was from another one of his sisters telling me he had been bitten by a rattle snake. I told her not to worry. I have sent Reiki healing energies to him and rush him to the hospital as quickly as possible.

A third telephone call came this time, from the hospital, from another sister. All the ladies were crying thinking he would die. I talked to them and calmed them down saying believe in Reiki and in God that he will be well. The next day I visited him in the hospital and he related the following to me. He said he would normally wear his boots for protection against snakebite but that day he was too busy. When he was walking in the fields he felt something scratch his left ankle. He thought it was barbed-wire and did not give it any attention. Then suddenly there was a flash before him and he saw my face and he felt something wrong. He looked behind him and saw the rattle snake was ready for a second strike. He moved away quickly and yelled to his brother to bring the car.

He said when he saw the rattle snake he was frozen for a moment. Then he remembered my advice, always apply Reiki when in doubt. He immediately applied Reiki on the bitten area. By then his brother and father came to take him to the nearest hospital that is about 90 kilometers away. He told me when he applied Reiki on the bitten area the pain was much worse then the snake bite but he also remembered to bear with it. His brother drove like a mad person to rush him to the hospital in forty minutes time. He said after twenty minutes the pain subsided and he felt good and normal. When they arrived at the hospital he was given an injection of anti- serum for snake bite since he knew he was bitten by a rattle snake. He was warded for twenty hours for observation. He also related another strange happening to me. He said there was an older man in the same ward bitten by a snake and he was suffering from severe pain so he went over and applied Reiki and within twenty minutes the pain was gone. He was very happy he could extend his help to another.

When I arrived at his ward there was a young lady doctor on duty checking on him. I asked how his condition was. She said he was in perfect condition and did not believe he was bitten by a
rattle snake. I asked her why is that? She said he has no symptoms of a rattle snake bite that can potentially cause temporary blindness, severe swelling on the bitten limb, and he has none of
these symptoms. We looked at each other and smiled to ourselves. You see in Brazil the medical doctors here think Reiki is nothing more then hocus-pocus so we would not tell them what we did. I saw the fang marks were about two inches wide so I believe it to be a big rattle snake. He said the snake was about a meter and a half long.

Days later his family of 15 members came to my residence to thank me for saving his life. I said it was he who saved his own life, for he believed in Reiki and me.
