The Miracle of Continuous Reiki

It’s possible to cultivate your mind and energy field to be saturated with an advanced state of Reiki awareness that sends Reiki continuously to those in need. This technique can be very beneficial to others and to you as well. It sets up a situation in which Reiki flows continuously through and around you, placing you in a state of higher consciousness, uplifted joy and peace. It also enhances your attitude toward others, creating a loving and compassionate feeling toward them as well as anyone you talk to or think about. Reiki will also be sent automatically to those you may have never met or even know who are in need of help.
Its continued use over time will develop new energetic pathways within your energy system and a heightened level of awareness within the subconscious mind. It also works in conjunction with your spiritual guides and healing angels to facilitate the process. In affect, it causes you to be a continuous beacon of Reiki healing connecting you with others and the world around you in an incredibly healthy way!
The technique involves the use of an affirmation that is repeated much like a mantra. The mantra is repeated frequently throughout the day preferably starting before you get out of bed in the morning and regularly all day long. Repeat the mantra whenever you think of it. As you practice, you’ll notice that you’re becoming surrounded by wonderful Reiki energies and may feel as though you’re filling up your energy tank. As time goes by after repeating the mantra you may notice the energy getting lower and when this happens, it’s an indication that it’s time to repeat the mantra again. You can repeat it to yourself, or out loud if no one is around.
How to Do It
The mantra involves the use of the Reiki distant symbol (abbreviated as HSZSN) which is repeated three times in a row before the affirmation. Here it is: “HSZSN, HSZSN, HSZSN, I continuously send Reiki to all those who need it, I continuously send Reiki to all those who need it, I continuously send Reiki to all those who need it.” This is one set. Do at least three sets, and you can keep going saying many more sets for as long as you are guided to do so. Then repeat the process throughout the day.
After practicing a while, you may be guided to add other symbols to the process such as DKM, or CKR, or other Reiki symbols. You can do this, but always use HSZSN.
It’s not necessary to do anything else except repeat the mantra. Reiki will flow from your energy field directly so it’s not necessary to place your hands in any special position or to do anything else differently. You can continue to go about your everyday activities repeating the mantra and the process will continue to work all by itself.
Some may be concerned about sending Reiki to those who have not requested it, but with this process, it’s the Reiki energy that decides where it goes. If a person doesn’t want it, the wisdom of Reiki will know this and not send it to them.
Try saying it right now! Then keep practicing it. If you like the results, I suggest you make a commitment to continue the process for a week. After this time, you may find it so enjoyable and uplifting that you’ll make it a background mantra you say in your mind whenever you have nothing else important to think about.
After practicing for just 10 minutes or so, you’re likely to notice that you’re already feeling a lot better; its practice provides positive reinforcement to keep doing it as not only does the energy go out to others, but it will have a positive affect on you too! As you continue for a week or so, a transformation will begin to develop in your energy system as your entire being comes into alignment with the process. It will have a beneficial affect on your physical health, your emotions, your mental attitude and your spiritual life that is amazing.
Not only will Reiki flow to those you love and care about, but it will also flow to strangers including people on the street, at the shopping center or at any gathering you may attend. It’s especially valuable at meetings as it will uplift the group and transform your attitude toward everyone! Reiki will also flow to plants, animals and nature in general. As this happens, you are likely to become aware of a subtle loving connection forming between you and all living things.
It’s also possible you’ll receive guidance in when to repeat the mantra. As an example, I was in Seattle several years ago riding in a car. I was on my way to a hotel and was scheduled to teach a workshop the next day. Suddenly my guides said, “Ok, do your thing.” I knew they meant my Continuous Reiki mantra, so I began repeating it, but felt something more directed taking place. The next say at the beginning of class, one of the students said she had injured her arm and needed some Reiki, but since she hadn’t taken the class yet, she couldn’t treat herself. But knowing Reiki can be sent at a distance, she thought perhaps she could request Reiki from someone. She thought of me and mentally began asking that I send Reiki. She said the Reiki came and the pain in her arm went away. I checked and the time she made the request was the same time my guides asked me to begin saying my mantra.
The practice of this technique is simple and easy. It will provide continuous healing for you as well as many others. It can also guide you in ways that are miraculous and can lead you into truly mystical experiences. This is a significant exercise that will greatly increase the benefit you and others receive from Reiki. It has the power to transform your life and you can start right now!

Create a Thriving Reiki Practice, Part I
Vision, Intention and Attitudes

If you’ve taken a Reiki class, even if it is Level I, it’s possible to use your skill as a healer to start a Reiki practice. That’s right; you don’t need to wait until you’ve become a Reiki Master to start a practice. Back in the 80’s, when Reiki II cost $500 and only a select few could become Reiki Masters, it was considered normal and appropriate to start an active Reiki practice after taking the first class. Keep in mind that Takata sensei worked in Dr. Hayashi’s clinic giving professional Reiki sessions to his clients with only Reiki I training.
Remember, you’re not the one doing the healing; it’s the Reiki energy. Its supply is unlimited, and it is guided by the highest Divine wisdom. How could you doubt that it wouldn’t work right or provide the healing your clients need? One of the most important lessons the beginning Reiki practitioner or practitioners at any level can learn is to have confidence in the Reiki energy to guide you in creating the healing experience that is exactly right for each client. When you are able to set your ego aside and trust that Reiki will work, you are ready to become a Reiki practitioner. And this can be done even after taking a beginning class! In saying this, I’m talking about someone who has taken a well-organized class from a competent instructor and has also taken the time to practice by giving complete sessions with friends and family. If you’ve taken one of the higher degrees, that is even better, but the important thing is that if you have any level of training, as long as it was good training, you’re ready to start right now.
There is tremendous value in having a thriving Reiki practice. Think about what this would look and feel like. If you had 10 clients a week and charged $75 each, you’d be earning close to $40,000 a year just from sessions. You’d likely be working 10-15 hours a week giving the sessions and an additional 10 or so hours for marketing, bookkeeping and other business activities for a total of about 25 hours a week! You’d even be able to work from your home if you wanted to. How do those numbers sound? If you decided to teach, which wouldn’t be difficult with that kind of clientele as potential students, you could add an additional $20,000 or more to your income. As you can see, a Reiki practice can be a real job that earns real income. There is also a special satisfaction that comes from being your own boss and running your own business.
In addition to these purely financial results, there are also emotional and spiritual benefits that can be even more fulfilling. You’ll be immersed in Reiki energy several hours a day on a regular basis. This will have a positive affect on your health. At the same time, giving Reiki sessions to others and seeing them heal and grow will fill your heart with peace and joy. You’ll be providing a service to others and to your community that will connect you to them in a very loving and spiritual way. Being in this type of energetic environment will quicken your personal growth and move you more quickly along on your spiritual path.
As you can see, a successful Reiki practice can provide you with both material and spiritual benefits in a way that is entirely healthy for you and your clients. Getting a successful practice started will require a clear commitment and focused activity over a period of time. Starting out with a part time effort and eventually working at it full time, it might take six months or more of promoting and developing your practice before you begin to approach the numbers mentioned above, but a thriving Reiki practice provides rewards that are more than worth the effort it takes to create success. Think about how valuable a successful practice will be for you, your life and for those who come to see you for sessions.
The first step toward realizing your goal is to do an assessment of your inner attitudes and beliefs as well as the personal resources you possess that can be employed in the attainment of your goal.
The foundation of all we do is our inner state. It is out of this state that we are able to create what we attempt to do. Having a strong enthusiastic intention to achieve your goal is necessary. If you have a half-hearted desire or are not really excited about creating a thriving Reiki practice, or if you don’t really believe you can do it, or if you feel that you don’t really deserve it, then you’re not likely to do very well. It takes strong motivation backed by emotional energy to achieve a goal as important as this. If you don’t have this state spontaneously, or if you find yourself in a slump once you've started your project, there is something you can do to pump yourself back up. Here’s an exercise that is important to do right from the beginning and continue everyday. It will give you the energy and enthusiasm you need to accomplish your goal.
Goal Manifesting Exercise
- Write your goal on a 3x5 card something like this: “I have a thriving Reiki practice. I see ten or more clients a week and teach classes. I have a thriving Reiki practice. I see ten or more clients a week and teach classes. I have a thriving Reiki practice. I see ten or more clients a week and teach classes.” Be sure to repeat it three times.
- Then place the card in your hand. If you’ve taken Reiki II or higher, draw all your Reiki symbols in the air over the card. If not, then simply use Reiki by itself.
- Place the card between your hands and give it Reiki, intending that the Reiki energy empower and manifest your goal.
- As you do this, repeat the affirmation to yourself over and over as you send it Reiki.
- In addition, visualize yourself with a thriving Reiki practice. Picture this imagery in a field of Reiki light up above your head. See yourself looking at your client file and seeing it full of client records. See checks and money flowing into your pocket and your bank account. See yourself in your treatment room working with a client knowing many more are on the way. When you visualize this, know in your heart that when this happens, it will be a truly exciting and satisfying accomplishment. Fill yourself with feelings of excitement, joy and success as though it’s actually happening right now! Allow yourself to get caught up in this inner state so that you lose awareness of your surroundings and are as fully absorbed as possible in the positive feelings of having a thriving Reiki practice.
- Do this exercise at least once a day, but more often if possible. The more you do it, the better you’ll be able to enter the desired state and the more beneficial it will be for you.
This exercise is very important to practice everyday. It is part of the training you need to strengthen your energy field and cultivate the inner qualities necessary to excel at accomplishing your purpose. It is better if you do it at the same time each day, such as in the morning before you start your day or at lunchtime. Not only will it give you the personal energy to accomplish your goal and motivate you to do what you need to do, it will enhance your creativity and create a powerful magnetic force that will attract to you all the people and resources you need. This will make it much easier to develop a thriving Reiki practice.
Because Reiki energy is the basis of this process, you’ll be developing a special connection to the highest level of guidance and healing. This connection will develop over time to be a wonderful source of strength, inspiration and encouragement that will help you develop all the personal qualities necessary to accomplish and even surpass your goals.

Distant Reiki for Cancer and Life Healing
Just recently I requested distant healing from the International Center for Reiki Training for my uncle who had been diagnosed with advanced cancer to his liver. He is not a believer in miracles, but when I told him about the wonderful healing energy of Reiki, he became very interested and requested that I do a few treatments on him. He now has more energy than before and listens to Reiki music all the time. He feels very relaxed and says he sometimes does a meditation and when he closes his eyes he sees himself floating in beautiful rays of light. He is thankful for Reiki being introduced into his life. He hardly feels any pains or symptoms of sickness.
My second story is of a friend of mine who had been going through a rough patch. His girlfriend had broken up with him just as he'd lost his job, and he felt that life was not worth living. I introduced him to Reiki and did a few treatments on him, and I requested help from the International Center for Reiki Training. I would like to say a heartfelt thanks to all of you for the distant healing performed for him. I’m pleased to confirm he now has a stable job; his entire lifestyle is improving; he is more positive and welcomes the positive into his life. Love, light and happiness. Sheroma
Healing Severe Injuries
I am a new practitioner who worked with a client who had fallen from a ladder. This woman suffered serious injuries to neck vertebrae and back and had injuries to hands and arms. Both of her eyes were black and blue, and she had been bed-ridden for seven weeks.
I offered to give her Reiki treatments in hopes that it would aid in her recovery. She agreed but was apprehensive about the treatment process. The concept of having another person's hands on her was something that was scary to her. She called my house four days later.
When I heard her voice I didn't recognize it, but she sounded clear and joyful as she spoke about her progress. I felt I was witness to a miraculous healing and the look on my face was probably comical in its expression of joy and amazement. It bolstered my belief in what I will be able to accomplish in my life as a Reiki healer. My best to you all! George Chavez
Reiki and Infertility
We have been married for over six years and have wanted a child. During this time, we had sexual intercourse regularly with this purpose in mind but were not able to conceive.
Friends and family regularly spoke to us about this, and this caused us a lot of shame. We always accused each other for not been potent which lead us to conduct a medical test after which she was told that because she has been operated on and has only one ovum it would be very difficult for her to produce. I was told that I have a very low sperm count. Hearing this placed us in a lot of distress. However, I became a Reiki three and she received Reiki one training and we began doing Reiki for conception. We are happy to say that she is now pregnant. We are so blessed to find out about Reiki. I invite all Reiki practitioners to send us Reiki energy until July 2007 when the baby is due. Rachel and Komlan
Reiki and the Office
I cracked up when I read the article in your last online newsletter on Reiki in the Office. A week ago I had a problem with a situation at work where I was called into a meeting. I will not go into the details except that several people were very negative about me. I was angry the first day, but took time to examine the situation as objectively as I could. Near as I could tell it was an attack based on personalities rather than thoughtless behavior on my part. But I was still angry and more than a little hurt, so I decided to put the situation at work on my long distance Reiki list. Funny, why would I try so many things that do not work on office politics and one that I know is 100% effective becomes the last resort!
Anyhow, over the course of the weekend I thought about the gal who had the most enmity towards me, and decided that if she were healthier and happier I would then assume the position of unimportance in her life that is the natural position for me. So onto the Reiki list she went.
I noticed the first day after the job situation went on the list that work felt better, with even a little pocket of extra Reiki energy waiting for me to use. Now it has been a week and though I have made behavior changes and am treading very carefully, the situation and the lady both seem to be carrying less stress, and so am I! Christine
