Distance Reiki and Cancer
I had been practicing Reiki for about a year when I got a phone call from the wife of my husband's friend. We had been friendly in the 17 years I had known her but had only communicated when the "old gang" got together. She called me and said, "I felt I needed to call you, I have two kinds of lung cancer and am only expected to live about 3 weeks." This was such a shock. She was 47 years old and has a four year old, a miracle baby they never thought they would have. I told her I'd do Reiki for her and asked if she needed help with the baby. A week later she called me to say, "Mary, what did you say you'd do for me?" I said I had told her I would pray. "No something else," she insisted. I told her I had been doing distance Reiki for her. She wanted to know what Reiki was. I started to explain about Universal Life Force Energy and she interrupted me, "No, Mary how does it feel, is it warm?" "Yes, it feels warm." She continued getting more excited. "Does it feel warm at 6:00 every morning?" I had been looking for validation for my distant Reiki and here it was - she was not only feeling it, she knew what time I was doing it.

She went on to tell me that she was sure she was not going to die. I told her I would continue the Reiki and told her how to do some visualization techniques as well. Several months later her doctor called her at ten one evening and asked what she was doing. She said she was getting ready for bed. He said, "No, that's not what I mean, what are you doing? I'm looking at your tests here and you are clean!" No cancer remained, she was healed! She has been granted the time with her daughter that she wanted. Mary Ronge

Reiki Heals Multiple Injuries
This is a 10 year-old accident case with multiple fractures, head trauma, stroke, and brain tumor following injury. The person was in the hospital for several months and in and out of rehab. She was successful with physical abilities but was left with severe inflammation and joint pain and epilepsy. A heavy anti-inflammatory and painkiller caused severe distress in her stomach and caused an ulcer and indigestion. She was also left with weakness in the left side of her body. She came to our outpatient rehab hospital for physical therapy and occupational therapy. Exercising was causing a severe increase in her pain. The case was referred to me since I do conventional therapy plus Reiki sessions.

At the end of the first session the patient felt very relaxed. The pain reduced to nothing. She felt a gushing of energy and warmth and went home and slept several hours, something she hadn't done in ten years. The next day the pain came back. But the indigestion problem was resolved completely. With the next session the patient went into a deep trance/meditative state within the first two minutes of the treatment. Lots of adhesions in and around the fracture site in the face, ribs, breast-bone, left knee, ankle, and leg were released. Her face became very expressive. Tension would cause her to grimacing with pain and then would follow with a calm face as adhesions released. She woke up saying, "I was with you but felt like I was just too far away and it was like being under a local anesthetic. I felt relaxed."

The next day the patient was in severe pain and had to take pain medicine. When the patient came for her third session she said she felt very bad but still positive about the treatment. I explained it is very normal since all the negativities are in the body and Reiki is acting as antioxidant to bring them out. She felt great after the third treatment with no pain and is off pain medication and anti-inflammatory drugs. She said she hasn't felt this good in ten years. Since Reiki has been started she hasn't had a seizure relapse. She is still under therapy for strengthening and receives fifteen minute Reiki session as a boost. Hima N. Pediatrician Uses Reiki
I am from Argentina and I have something to tell you. I practice Reiki everyday to adults and kids. I am a pediatrician and many times I surprise myself with how fast people improve their health. Little boys and girls don't cry when I give them Reiki. Even the very little ones smile and
feel relaxed and many times fever goes away fast. A time ago I wrote a small letter to William in this letter I spoke about my husband, who was dead for seven minutes and with Reiki he recovered his health, his memory and he changed his life after Reiki, I think that is one of the most beautiful experiences to have from Reiki. Facial Growth Healed
I have been a Reiki master teacher for four years. Phenomenal stories continue to occur on a regular basis as I am sure it does with all Reiki practitioners. I am always in as much awe as my clients are when a healing occurs. I will share one of my many stories with you. My Mom had skin cancer removed from the left side of her face and upper arm. She had another growth under her right eye that was the size of a dime and was raised above the skin surface. The doctor was watching this growth for any changes as it had been there for two years.

One day I asked "Mom, do you want me to give you a Reiki session on the growth?" I can honestly say it had never crossed my mind to do a Reiki session on her growth. Mom agreed and took an active part with the Reiki session. I used the physical symbol counterclockwise (which I do not use counterclockwise very often, as it is so very powerful). With my left hand and Mom's left hand covering the growth we both breathed in deeply and imagined that we pulled the growth off. I had her imagine along with me that we put the growth on a cutting board, chopped it up with a knife into tiny pieces and then sprayed it with water sending it spiraling counterclockwise down a purple drain. We repeated this procedure three times during the session ending with Mom imagining the area healed and visualizing what it looked like while I put the physical healing sign back in clockwise sending healing light to the area. Slight changes occurred that week to the growth so we repeated the entire session again on the seventh day.

My Mom came to my house on the fourth day following our second Reiki session announcing, "Look at my face". Mom said she had gotten up during the night to use the bathroom and didn't turn on the bathroom light but heard this 'clink' sound on the ceramic floor. She very slowly reached her hand up to touch her face and it was gone! She turned on the bathroom light and looked into the mirror. There was no growth and no blood. No scar, nothing, the skin looked completely normal. Mom then did a floor search and found the growth and delivered it to me in a baggie. My brother, a Dentist, said to Mom "When did the Doctor remove that growth from your face?" to which Mom replied, "He didn't, your sister gave me a Reiki session." My brother's reply was "Oh," and said no more as he does not believe in energy medicine. However, this is the day that Mom was no longer doubtful of Reiki and calls me frequently for distant sessions on a regular basis.

I began practicing Reiki seven years ago and even though the experiences I write myself, and read from others sound so unbelievably bizarre, it is understandable why there are so many people that respond like my brother. We Reiki practitioners are lucky enough to be used as channels for this energy to flow through us to touch lives in a way that was not possible before we were attuned. God Bless All Of You. Reiki Heals Valve Rheumatism
I am Shalini from Mauritius. I am a second degree in Reiki. My precious experience that I have to share is that I have been a patient of valve rheumatism from the age of eight. I was being injected with penicillin and suffering from severe pain in joints and having difficulty in breathing. I was perplexed as to not feeling as others and most of the time could not participate in many activities. After almost seventeen years of suffering, I did my first degree in Reiki. By the miracle of Reiki during the 21 days of detoxification something very surprising happened to me! On the last day I had my usual appointment at the hospital and to my discovery the doctor announced to me that I did not need the drug any longer and I have recovered from that long illness. Shalini

My Dog Cassie
My dog Cassie has had a couple of eye operations since December 2003. Not because of any illness or condition but purely because the cat next door beats her up and she has suffered scratches on the surface of her eyes which have become ulcerated. The left eye operation healed quite quickly but the right eye would not heal properly with the white of the eye being swollen and blood red where it was aggravated by the ulcer. I tried my own spiritual healing and Reiki along with veterinary treatment but nothing much seemed to happen.

I began to have doubts as to whether anything would work. Then I contacted the www.reiki.org website and asked for Reiki healing for my four-legged friend and within days the swelling of her eye has considerably lessened and is now just a healthy pink! She still needs more treatment and healing. I am also working with crystals to help her. My own spirituality tells me that God's light works at all levels and I am ashamed to say that I was beginning to think it didn't. A big lesson for me!! I am intent on carrying on my Reiki training to higher levels so that I can help other people and our animal friends as Cassie and I have now been helped. I have volunteered as part of your team of worldwide distant Reiki healing workers and am looking forward to being part of such wonderful work. Barbara Hughes (England)

Reiki II healing
My Mother-in-law is in the last stage of Alzheimer's. She no longer moves about on her own in the physical realm. Her spine was severely curved and causing her great distress. I performed a distant Reiki session on her while in the same room. When I had finished my partner walked over to her and touched her back. Her spine had straightened all the way down except for about the last five inches. We greatly appreciate having been opened up to Reiki healing. I am looking forward to receiving my Master's level this month and continuing to share Reiki with the world. Linda Craig

Punk Rock Reiki
I was recently invited to see a friend's son in his punk rock band debut. Perhaps I was trying to recapture my youth but I went along. As expected it was loud and crazy and very fun. At one point the mosh pit got a little out of hand and a young girl rushed past me holding her bleeding nose. I followed her to the bathroom and found a friend of mine administering first aid. The bleeding was quite heavy and the girl was panicking and choking on the blood. I very quickly
explained what Reiki was and asked if I could put my hands on her. Unable to speak she nodded. I put my hands on either side of her head and let the Reiki flow. Within moments she calmed down and the bleeding stopped. The girl was very thankful and my friend was amazed. My friend wants to learn Reiki as soon as possible. Bonnie Adam

Recovering After Surgery
My mother had gynecological surgery from a cancer but in it's very early stage. A week before the surgery I gave her a full Reiki treatment on a daily basis. They said this is a routine operation but it is a big intervention anyway. After the surgery I continued giving her Reiki. As compared to the other women in a similar situation she is recovering better and faster. She started walking without feeling almost any pain the next day after surgery.
